Born: Feb 18, 1878 Died: May 13, 1949 Phillipine Insurrection Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. Served in the US Navy as a Gunner's Mate 3rd Class during an action at El Pardo, Cebu, Phillipine Islands. His Medal was Issued on 21 Nov 1900. The Citation reads: "For extraordinary heroism and gallantry while under fire of the enemy at El Pardo, Cebu, Phillipine Islands, 12 and 13 September, 1899."
